Classic beach layout - coastal grasses and sand. The drawing is a semi abstract endeavour to capture wind and textures of the coastal landscape. Simple. Yet recognisable, relatable, home like feel. It's an image of care free time when we run towards the sea line.
Strong focus on lines and textural qualities of graphite on paper. Varied strength and pressure in the process of creation. It's an open end meditation both on process of drawing and the subject.

Would love to draw a really large scape version of this theme for a truly large wall.
