Born in Soviet Kazakhstan to a family of civil engineers, Yuliya shone as a talented young artist from an early age. Yet amid the uncertainty of a nation in transition, she was steered towards legal studies. Following corporate career in London after relocating to the UK in 2005, she made the decisive return to her creative roots, becoming a full-time artist in 2015.

Yuliya starting point was experimenting on large paper and canvas with watercolors and heavily diluted oils with strong focus on rhythmic patterns. Overtime she has developed unmistakable visual language pairing rough and tender approach with focus on interplay of traditional media on  various surfaced and scale.

Her work has been named as best display with Rivers & Rowing Museum of Henley-upon-Thames in 2025, acquired by Crown Estate and displayed in landmark London buildings in 2026, world leading law firms for UK offices, Dubai prestigious developments with art curation (H&H Development),  featured in filming (Doctor Strange, Marvel, Scandal, ABC, Wild Cherry, BBC), landmark hospitality, cruise liners  and health facilities in the US and Mediterranean,  held in private and corporate collections across world wide.
