YULIYA MARTYNOVA
ABOUT
Yuliya is Caversham (Berkshire) based artist.
She was born and raised between the leafy valleys and lakes of the Northern Kazakhstan side and Caspian Sea deserty coast of her home town Aktau.
As a teen, Yuliya received classical art school training and was destined for art degree in Moscow top school. That time coincided with the collapse of the soviet states so she went to do legal studies instead.
Yuliya first came to Aberdeen in 2005 where she worked on Kazakh energy project with the engineering team and then moved down to London in 2007. A year later she crossed the industry into private clients and had completed 2 more law degrees with Queen Mary Uni of London and BPP School of Law.
In 2015 Yuliya had abandoned her Mayfair job and ever since have been a well received exhibitor at London art fairs and galleries. She continue her work with international art advisors, corporate clients and international private collectors.
Her works found its way to movie sets (Huntsman, Saville Raw, home of Kingsman 2024, Marvel for Doctor Strange 2016, ABC for Scandal, 2017), have been shown in members clubs, stylish London hotels and fine dining venues, acquired by interior designers for yachts, cruise liner, international resorts and held in private collections world wide
